Launching the training program on the International License for Social Responsibility in Mukalla

This Sunday morning, the training program on the International License for Social Responsibility was launched in Mukalla under the slogan (I am for my community and my community is for me), which is implemented by Estidama Foundation for Capacity Development, funded by Al-Awn Foundation for Development in partnership with the Regional Network for Social Responsibility and with the participation of several institutions and commercial companies from Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Mahra, Socotra and Marib.

At the inauguration of the training program, which will run from June 26 to 29, the Executive Director of Al-Awn Foundation for Development, Dr. Abdellah bin Othman, stressed that social responsibility is a basic and ethical theory for the advancement of societies. Its bases on which it builds, and for this concept, the Foundation set out with its partners to promote this concept in society, and for balance to occur.

The Executive Director indicated that whenever there was a commitment between the economic side and the social side, the society lived in luxury and commitment without deviation or difference in balance, saying, "We are here requesting it today as the first entry to the regional network of social responsibility in Yemen, starting from Hadramout.

Executive Director Bin Othman directed the beneficiaries to make the most of this training to enhance responsibility in their companies, and to think of qualitative projects to constitute a great renaissance in society.

In the speech of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, who is leading its training in Mukalla, “the Vice President of the Network, Professor Dr. Ali Abdullah Al Ibrahim,” the representative of the Network, Abdullatif Muhammad Al-Ali, expressed his thanks to the local authorities and partners for providing this opportunity to participate in this specialized international program, stressing that the network since its establishment in 2007, it proceeded to provide quality and advanced professional programs in order to transfer specialized knowledge.

The training program deals with editing the concept and historical development, the principles of the United Nations Global Compact and its application mechanisms, the ten specifications and standards of social responsibility, its tools and its effectiveness in accordance with the international standards ISO 26000, and a number of aspects that will be discussed during the training period.
