Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the activities of the Education Quality Partners Forum in Yemen were launched

The Undersecretary of Hadhramaut Governorate for Coastal and Plateau Affairs, Dr. Saeed Othman Al-Amoudi, inaugurated the activities of the Education Quality Partners Forum in Mukalla, in the "Bin Mahfouz Towers" hall in Mukalla, under the generous patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training, A. Dr . Khaled Ahmed Al-Wasabi, held under the slogan,, in order to improve the outcomes of education in the Faculties of Education and Qur’an, funded by Al-Awn Foundation for Development, with the participation of 7 Yemeni universities in 8 governorates.
 
In the opening session of the forum, Al-Amoudi conveyed the greetings of the Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, to the attendees, pointing out that this event comes to enhance the quality of the academic educational process in Yemen in order to make progress in the educational aspect, stressing that the quality of education represents the main pillar for building the academic human element, explaining That the local authority in the governorate pays wide attention to education because of its importance in building generations, thanking Al-Awn Foundation for Development for its support for such activities that contribute to the development of education in our country.
 
For his part, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training, a. Dr . Khaled Al-Wasabi in his speech via zoom, greetings and blessings of the Prime Minister and President of the Supreme Council of Universities for holding this qualitative forum, which will discuss the problems facing the conduct of university education and how to pay attention to the quality of education, stressing that the faculties of education and Qur’an in universities represent the basis for any scientific renaissance as it qualifies teachers in basic education schools, praising The role of Al-Awn Foundation for Development to adopt this forum, calling on all educational institutions and civil society organizations to pay attention to the quality of university education in order to advance the educational and academic process in Yemen.
 
For his part, the President of the University of Islamic Sciences in Malaysia, a. Dr . Daoud Abdul-Malik Al-Hadabi indicated that this forum is held to discuss issues related to the quality of education to improve learning outcomes and to contribute to the integrated formation of students to light a bright candle. Learning them how to benefit from the experiences of others to launch the educational process and make changes to achieve quality to contribute to the development of society and the graduation of university community leaders that have an impact Actually in Yemen.
 
For his part, the Executive Director of Al-Awn Foundation for Development, Dr. Abdullah Abdul-Qader Bin Othman, confirmed that the University Education Quality Partners Project in Yemen is one of the most important programs funded by Al-Awn. This is because it links the quality of education and improving outcomes, which is what the Foundation seeks through its development programs and projects.
 
 
The forum will last for four days and will  discuss a number of issues related to change management, strategic plan management, educational leadership in universities and colleges, leadership skills, global social leadership, financial sustainability, digital and knowledge economy, management by results, community service in colleges and universities, and business English for decision makers.
