The general directors of social affairs and labor in the liberated governorates of Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Marib, and Mahra learned about the activities of Al-Awn Foundation for Development and its strategic plan that will be launched at the beginning of next year 2024.
During the visit, the executive director of the foundation, Dr. Abdullah bin Othman, reviewed the foundation's goals and orientations within the framework of aligning the foundation's orientations with the goals of sustainable development, emphasizing the foundation's orientation towards secondary education during the next five-year plan due to the importance of this type of education in promoting development in remote communities.
The directors of social affairs indicated that Al-Awn Foundation is an inspiring institution for all development institutions under their supervision due to its accurate system and its reliance on governance and the highest institutional standards in measuring its goals and achieving its desired vision in shaping the future.
This visit comes within the framework of their visit to Mukalla to attend the Solidarity International Forum organized by the foundation in partnership with the Islamic Development Bank as one of the most important activities of the project to empower non-governmental organizations to combat poverty in Yemen "Solidarity".
