This morning, Eng. Jamal Al-Nouri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charity Association in the sisterly State of Kuwait, and his accompanying delegation visited the headquarters of Al-Awn Foundation for Development to learn about its experience, projects, and its contribution to achieving sustainable development goals.

 

The delegation was received by the Executive Director of the Foundation, who took them on a tour of the Foundation's departments, explaining the nature of the work and reviewing the Foundation's strategy for 2024-2028, which focuses primarily on technical education and vocational training as a new and important direction. This includes raising community awareness of this approach and supporting industrial vocational institutes with equipment, educational materials, and specialized training courses in this field, in addition to the Foundation's strategic development projects that are needed and that contribute to bringing about positive change in society.

 

The importance of strengthening relations and the possibility of creating qualitative partnerships between Al-Awn Foundation for Development and Al-Nouri Charity Association in the development field of interest to both parties were discussed during the visit, where their goals and strategic directions converge, and they agreed to work together to achieve them.

 

In a phone call with the Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, Sheikh Abdul-Ilah bin Mahfouz, the head of the delegation, Eng. Jamal Al-Nouri, praised the Foundation's role in supporting sustainable development, its orientations, and the surrounding development work environment. He thanked the staff for their hospitality and reception.
