Launch of the BOOST Project: Building Our Organizations Together Sustainably and Technologically
In a significant step towards empowering civil society organizations and enhancing their institutional capacities, Al-Awn Foundation for Development, in collaboration with AMIDEAST and implemented by the Istidama Foundation for Capacity Building, has launched the "Building Our Organizations Together Sustainably and Technologically" (BOOST) project.
The initiative kicked off with a virtual introductory session held via the Teams platform, involving 16 community organizations from various areas of Hadhramaut, both coastal and inland, with 32 employees participating. These participants will receive training on AMIDEAST's organizational development methodology and will be awarded a certified certificate from AMIDEAST upon completion. As an added value to the project, graduates will be connected to the AMIDEAST Leaders Alumni and Mentors (ALAM) network. They will also gain access to a network of over 2,000 professionals and valuable resources to help them perform their roles with professionalism.
The session included an introduction to Al-Awn Foundation for Development and AMIDEAST, as well as a comprehensive overview of the project's objectives and mechanisms. The BOOST project focuses on enhancing the sustainability of organizations while developing their technical and professional capacities. This contributes to improving institutional efficiency and creating a sustainable impact within local communities.
This project represents a strategic step towards strengthening partnerships among local organizations, driving them to achieve their developmental goals with effectiveness and innovation, and making civil society efforts more impactful and sustainable in serving the community.
