Launch of a Training Program to Develop the Staff of the Industrial Technical Institute in Mukalla in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Specialty at Luminus Technical University - Amman, Jordan

In partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Vocational Education, and Training, and with funding from Al-Awn Foundation for Development and Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charity Association, and implementation by Al-Manzoma Foundation for Development, a specialized training program for developing the staff of the Industrial Technical Institute in Mukalla in the field of air conditioning and refrigeration was launched at Luminus Technical University in the Jordanian capital, Amman. This program is part of the initiative to develop the air conditioning and refrigeration specialty.

During the opening ceremony, Mr. Mohammed Al-Saban, Head of the Programs and Projects Department at Al-Awn Foundation for Development, spoke about the importance of training programs and their pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of teaching staff at the Industrial Technical Institute in Mukalla, through specialized and intensive training in the latest air conditioning and refrigeration technologies. He emphasized that this specialty is one of the main foundations for developing vocational education, in light of the growing demand for qualified staff in the field of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, both in residential and industrial facilities. He also encouraged all trainees to take advantage of this opportunity to develop their skills and refine their experiences, contributing to achieving professional excellence.

Mr. Al-Saban praised the fruitful partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Vocational Education, and Training, commending the support and facilities provided by the ministry to achieve the program's goals, which contributes to preparing qualified graduates with high competitive competencies in the local and regional labor markets.

He added that Luminus University was selected to implement this program due to its advanced training workshops and international accreditations in technical specialties, reflecting the project's commitment to providing effective training outputs that contribute to enhancing the position of the Industrial Technical Institute in Mukalla as a leading educational institution in vocational specialties.

For his part, Engineer Ahmed Khawas, Director of Public Relations at Luminus University, pointed out the importance of developing teaching staff to raise their academic and professional level, which contributes to improving the quality of educational outcomes at the institute. He also confirmed the university's commitment to providing all the necessary resources to enable participants in the program to acquire modern knowledge and practical skills that qualify them to transfer this knowledge to their students with high efficiency, thus enhancing the future of education.

The program lasts for 15 days, with a select group of trainees who will gain advanced practical experience in designing, installing, and maintaining air conditioning and refrigeration systems, according to the highest international standards.
